Thank you to all who participated in our Community Visioning Plan and Economic Master Plans consultation process! Your valuable feedback has been instrumental in shaping the future of the Municipality of French River. Through our survey, focus groups, visioning exercises, and public hearings, you have shared your thoughts, ideas, and aspirations for our community.
The survey, available both online and in hard copy, opened on July 26th and remained accessible until September 5th at 4 p.m. Additionally, a series of focus groups and visioning exercises, was held from August 14th to August 20th, and focused on developing six Economic Master Plans spanning various sectors vital to our community's growth and prosperity. Two public hearings, providing opportunities for further engagement and information sharing through open dialog. These sessions, were held at the Municipal Office in Noëlville on August 15th and at Paroisse Notre-Dame-De-Lourdes (Alban Church) on August 17th, members of the community had the opportunity to voice their opinions, ask questions, and express concerns.
Now, based on your input, we are excited to showcase the two documents that have been produced. These documents outline our community objectives and establish measurable goals for French River's future, reflecting the collective vision and aspirations of our Council, Staff and Residents.
