The Municipality of French River is conducting a Pilot Program study involving 100 households in the Municipality of French River.
The FoodCycler Eco 3 and Eco 5 devices can process 3.5 L and 5 L (respectively) of food waste per cycle and converts it into a nutrient-rich by-product that can be used to enrich your soil.
Every FoodCycler deployed is estimated to divert 2.5 metric tonnes of food over its expected lifetime. Based on market rates of $150 per tonne of waste, each participating household would save its local municipality an estimated $375 in costs and 3.25 tonnes of CO2e.
